Volunteer Opportunities

VOTER GIRL is here and we need help planning this amazing day civic engagement with Girl Scouts.

And you don't have to be a member to volunteer!!! Leaders are needed for the following areas:

NEED - Seniors & Ambassadors Lead - help document participants prep homework (3 civic activities) which must be completed before Nov 7th

FILLED - Registration - assist with registration for am and pm

FILLED - Educators (leaders in the classrooms) - ages include 4-5 to seniors in high school

FILLED - Classroom Assistants - range from 2 per class to 4-5 for younger girls

FILLED - Hospitality - help get food donations for volunteers and troop leaders

FILLED - Cafe - during the day, troop leaders hang out here instead of the classrooms

FILLED - Voting - assist with the voting process part of the day

2nd Wednesday each month from 4:30-5:30 pm

Voter Services Team encourages “informed and active participation in government” and works “to increase understanding of major public policy issues” by providing nonpartisan pro and con information to the public. (2) volunteers are needed to lead this team which includes:

• Manage monthly meetings (currently on the 2nd Tuesday from 6-7 pm; can be moved to a different day and time)
• Voter Registration Drives
• VOTE411.org
• Youth Council
• Candidate Forums, Meet & Greet's

You don't have to be a member to sign-up for this role initially, however, membership is required to continue in the role. If costs are an issue, we have scholarships available. Please contact LWVPPR at 719.344.2827 or lwvppr@gmail.com for more information.

Join us as the League is in GOTV mode! We will encourage participants to VOTE and turn in their primary ballot by June 30, 2026 at 7 pm. We will also have free buttons, stickers and stuff to give away PLUS encourage civically, engaged festival goers to get involved in the League of Women Voters!

Today's the day! Girl Scouts from across the Pikes Peak Region will come in for different age-level sessions to achieve civic, community and government participation badges. Come and help make sure the day runs smoothly as we empower, educate and encourage a LOT of young, female future-voters!!!

We are getting ready for LWV National Convention, Voter Registration Drives and Summer Festivals and need your help.

(2) volunteers will help with button making (1 cutting strips and cutting circles; 1 putting button together).

We will be tabling and interacting with attendees and encouraging voter registration and life long informed voting.

NAACP Freedom Fund is sponsoring Juneteenth Prayer Breakfast. The theme is "What's Going On!"
