LWVPPRs Mural Wallscape project kicked off celebrating the 100th Anniversary of Women’s Right to Vote. The dream was a mural that showcased women throughout history that protested and fought for the basic right to vote. The wallscape is an educational adventure highlighting a diverse group of women from the last century. The ribbon signifies the intertwining of women and our continued struggle for full equity. With your support we can come closer to that goal with this wallscape that thousands of young women will see everyday and able to envision themselves in the White House someday, no matter the color of their skin.
The Mural Wallscape is located at Palmer High School’s (District 11) wall facing Boulder Avenue. The Mural Wall-scape Formal Ribbon Cutting Ceremony will take place on Friday, December 10 (12:45 pm) at the mural location on Boulder.
